San Francisco Bay Bridge at dusk
San Francisco is my favorite city to walk in. You can see so much with just your own two feet. I took this photo on a walk down the Embarcadero one evening.
-
Panorama of the Embarcadero, San Francisco
The Embarcadero in San Francisco is always a bee hive of activity. The building with the tower is Ferry Marketplace, a great place to get fresh, local food and some nice local gifts.

Panorama from Coit Tower, San Francisco
This panorama of the San Francisco Bay was take from the base of Coit Tower.
-
Martin Luther King Jr. Waterfall, San Francisco
In Yerba Buena Gardens in downtown San Francisco you'll find this beautiful waterfall with the inscription of King's words... "justice rolls down like water and righteousness like a mighty stream."
-
Chinatown street musician, San Francisco
This guy was nice enough to let me take his picture. I put a tip in his collection for it. I love all of the character in his face.
-
Baha'i House of Worship, Chicago
This is one of the most peaceful spots in the U.S. -- the Baha'i House of Worship on Lake Michigan just north of Chicago. It's open to people of all faiths (and no faith) to think, meditate, pray, walk through the gardens and fountains. Highly recommended.

Fall sunset in Louisville, KY
I love this one. It looks like the sky is one fire, and it only appeared that way for a few moments.
-
Empire State Building, New York City
I think this helps capture how small this building makes you feel.
-
Beach walk at Vero Beach, Florida
This was taken at 7PM on a Saturday night in March. The weather was 70 degrees and as you can see there was hardly anyone of the beach for miles. The hotel on the left is Disney's Vero Beach Resort.
-
World Showcase Lagoon at Epcot
Here's a sunset photo of the lake in the middle of Epcot at Walt Disney World.
-
Panorama of Las Vegas Convention Center
Las Vegas is one of my least favorite cities, but I like this panorama a lot. To the right is the Las Vegas Convention Center right before the opening of the Consumer Electronics Show. It is the calm before the storm.
-
Summer sunset in Louisville, KY
This one was taken from my front yard.
-
Seattle Public Library
This is a really crazy looking building. I was surprised to learn that it's the Seattle Public Library. I couldn't even fit it all in this panorama.
-
Boston Harbor
This panorama was taken from the Boston Marriott. It is looking out Long Wharf at the Boston Harbor.
-
The Ohio River in Louisville, KY
This panorama was taken from Riverfront Plaza in Louisville, one of my favorite places in the city.
-
The Ohio River from Jeffersonville, IN
This was taken at an Italian restaurant called Rocky's in Jeffersonville, Indiana. It looks across the Ohio River at downtown Louisville, Kentucky.
-
Monticello, Charlottesville, VA
The home of Thomas Jefferson is now a historic site. The name means "little mountain" and it is located on the top of a mountain. There are some breathtaking views.
-
U.S. Capitol Building, Washington, D.C.
I hope this photo captures a little bit of the magnificence of this building.
-
Rotunda of the U.S. Capitol
The inside of the dome of the U.S. Capitol is very impressive. The painting in the center is called the "Apotheosis of Washington."
-
Mount Vernon, Virginia
The home of George Washington is situated in a beautiful spot right on the Potomac River. It's not quite as awe-inspiring as Monticello's location, but it's very peaceful.
-
The Washington Monument
This was a lot more impressive than I expected. In this photo, I also really like that there's a family walking up to it in the foreground.
